Homes for the Holidays Tour showcases Sierra Foothills style

Capture the holiday spirit – Sierra Foothills style – during the annual Homes for the Holidays Tour, hosted by the Assistance League.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 6 and 7, experience five lavishly decorated private homes in El Dorado County. Proceeds benefit youth and senior programs supported by the Assistance League’s Sierra Foothills chapter.

“It’s time for gifting and receiving, so get ready to soak in the holiday spirit!” say the organizers. “Join us for a tour of five seasonally decorated private homes, where we will have our signature raffle basket tickets available, beautifully decorated kitchen Christmas trees for sale, and our Heartfelt and Handmade Holiday boutique featuring unique handcrafted stocking stuffers and more.”

There will be some refreshments, too, say the hosts. “Enjoy warm apple cider from Apple Hill, generously donated by Barsotti Juice in Camino. Or enjoy hot chocolate available from Renay’s chocolate.”

Patrons can visit the homes in any order, all in one day or spread over two.

“Wander through charming homes, breathe in rich holiday aromas, and gather simple ideas to bring the season home,” add the organizers. “Bring family, friends, and neighbors for a cheerful tour.”

Tickets, available online or from club members, are $40 for adults, $10 for children under age 12. Tickets are also available from Barrel and Bliss Wine Bar in El Dorado Hills Town Center, 4364 Town Center Blvd., El Dorado Hills (cash or checks only).

“Whether you’re with family, friends, or enjoying a solo outing, this is a fun-filled event for everyone,” add the hosts. “It’s child-friendly, but please note that pets are not allowed.”
