UC Davis Arboretum hosts fall kick-off plant sale
Fall is for planting – especially California natives, perennials, shrubs and trees. (Don’t forget bulbs, too!)
Find thousands of water-wise plants for your fall landscaping needs at the fall kick-off plant sale Saturday, Sept. 27, at the UC Davis Arboretum Teaching Nursery.
This members-only sale will be extra special; it also serves as the launch party for the new Arboretum All-Stars. The arboretum staff refreshed the line-up of 130 can’t-miss, water-wise beauties for Sacramento area gardens and this sale represents their official introduction. See the new Arboretum All-Stars Collection here: https://arboretum.ucdavis.edu/arboretum-all-stars
Sale hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Arboretum Teaching Nursery, located on Garrod Drive near the small animal veterinary hospital. Admission to the sale is free, but parking is not; paid parking is available in nearby lots.
